The Snapshots Music and Arts Foundation was formed with the mission of providing arts access to students and the public by documenting the biographical history and musical performances of some of today’s greatest artists through film. Our goal is to make all Snapshots Films available through public and private libraries nationally, the internet, and community showings, building a new platform of support for the musical arts.
Our Vision is to create a new platform through access to the musical arts using film and new media. We see the diversity of the musical arts reaching generations present and future by making all captured media available though public and private libraries, the Internet, and using progressive technologies. Our Foundation is committed to preserving the history and performances of today’s great artists. To help realize our goal of making great music timeless, we are collaborating with the Library of Congress to archive our media at its Packard Campus for Audio Visual Conservation. We are developing a true collaboration to preserve the voices of artists for generations to come. Press Release
